Association of Wisconsin Special Librarians (AWSL)
-- AWSL, a division of the Wisconsin Library Association, provides opportunity for discussion and exchange of ideas for persons interested in the welfare of special libraries.
Cooler by the Lake
-- Cooler by the Lake is a collaborative effort of librarians in Northeast Wisconsin to make good Internet resources available to everyone. Its focus is primarily on local and area resources.
Council on Library and Network Development (COLAND)
-- Created by the State Legislature in 1979, COLAND advises the State Superintendent of Public Instruction (DPI) to ensure that all state citizens have access to library and information services.
Division for Libraries, Technology, and Community Learning (DLTCL)
-- The Division (the state library agency of Wisconsin) provides leadership, assistance and funding in support of Wisconsin school and public libraries and fosters interlibrary cooperation.
Fox Valley Library Council (FVLC)
-- The FVLC is a nonprofit corporation that brings together the collections and professional expertise of school, public, academic and special libraries in the Fox Valley.
Friends of Wisconsin Libraries (FOWL)
-- The Friends promote the use of libraries throughout the state.
Intellectual Freedom Round Table
-- The Intellectual Freedom Round Table is a unit of WLA. It helps to defend against censorship and support the Library Bill of Rights.
Law Librarians Association of Wisconsin (LLAW)
-- LLAW is a nonprofit organization established to promote librarianship and cultivate the profession of law librarianship.
Library Council of Southeastern Wisconsin.
-- The Council is a consortium of 118 libraries of all types. Its mission is to foster cooperation and resource sharing among all types of libraries in the counties surrounding Milwaukee.
System and Resource Library Administrators' Association of Wis. (SRLAAW)
-- SRLAAW is composed of administrators from all seventeen Wisconsin library systems and directors of the resource libraries from each system. SRLAAW deals with statewide legislative and policy issues that impact public library service.

-- The Library Science program at UW-Superior educates students to be leaders in information services and the use of information and instructional technology.
Wisconsin Association for Academic Librarians (WAAL)
-- WAAL is the academic library division of the Wisconsin Library Association. It is dedicated to the improvement of library services to Wisconsin's academic and research community.
Wisconsin Chapter, Special Libraries Association (SLA)
-- The WI Special Libraries Association chapter has over 200 members representing large corporations, law firms, universities, government and non-profit institutions.
Wisconsin Division for Libraries, Technology, and Community Learning (DLTCL)

Wisconsin Educational Media Association (WEMA)

Wisconsin Library Services (WiLS)
-- WiLS, a consortium of member Wisconsin libraries, offers services in areas of shared bibliographic information, resource sharing, inservice training and other cooperative activities relating to the changing nature of information technology.
Wisconsin Library Association (WLA)
-- The state's major professional library association. WLA is committed to "improving and promoting library and information service within the Wisconsin library community."
Wisconsin Library Trustees and Advocates (WLTA)
-- The mission of WLTA is to foster improved abilities on the part of library Friends, trustees & advocates, in order to create better libraries and library services in Wisconsin.
Wisconsin State Agency Libraries and Librarians
-- This site lists state government agencies, their addresses and directors.
Wisconsin Women Library Workers
-- This is a feminist organization committed to improving the status of women in the library field and to the elimination of sex role stereotyping and sex bias.
