All WSAS (WKCE and WAA-SwD) test materials will be arriving in districts October 6-10, 2008.
Wthe WKCE Translation Accommodations CD and the Kindergarten ACCESS for ELLs DVD will be arriving in districts the week of September 29 - October 3, 2008..

2008-09 WSAS Pre-Test Workshop
The 2008-09 Workshop will be available as a prerecorded Webcast on September 26, 2008.

2008-09 WSAS Test Administration Window
The 2008-09 Testing window for the WKCE and the WAA-SwD is October 27-November 28, 2008.
Testing may only begin on or after October 27.
All students must take either the complete WKCE or the complete WAA-SwD not parts of both.
The WKCE is for students whose instruction is based on the Wisconsin Model Academic Standards.
The WAA-SwD is for students whose instruction is based on the Extended Grade Band Standards.

Writing Prompts
Writing Prompts will be Descriptive at grade 4 and Persuasive at grades 8 and 10.

DAC Confidentiality and Contact Updates Due May 31, 2008
The District Assessment Coordinator (DAC) Information Update Form - Accurate and up-to-date DAC information ensures timely delivery of assessment-related information from DPI and test materials from the test contractor to your district.
The Confidentiality Agreement Form - Your signed confidentiality agreement is your assurance that you will maintain the confidentiality of the WKCE and WAA-SwD tests, items, field test items, and so on at all levels of test administration and data analysis.
