AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress) Calendar

Year Month Date Event
2009 February 20 Districts recieve AYP alternate determination forms for schools with out tested grades (SWINT) or with very small enrollment.
April 3 AYP alternate determination forms due.
May 1-22 DPI conducts data analysis and individual reviews of AYP for WI districts and schools
May 22 Schools and districts receive notification of preliminarily DIFI, SIFI, and/or missing AYP findings. Data clean-up period. preliminary Annual Review of AYP decisions are embargoed until June 9th.
June 9 Public release of Preliminary DIFI, SIFI and/or districts/schools missing AYP posted
June 26 Deadline for districts and schools to prepare appeals and request reconsideration of their Preliminary DIFI, SIFI, or AYP designation
June 29 AYP status is electronically available for every Wisconsin school and district review. Three-year AYP Review Summary
July 1-31 DPI process DIFI, SIFI, and AYP reconsideration requests and notifies districts and schools of the results of these requests
July 31 Final SIFI, DIFI, and AYP Status
